Can you believe this? We had snow on Christmas Day 2010 and again on January 10! This is amazing for Alabama. This time we had about 4 1/2 inches and we can say we had a "blanket" of snow. For those of you who have visited the secret before, this is a picture going down our driveway! We could not even see our road. The entrance gate may be barely seen at the bottom.
It's been great being snowed in! It's like living in a snow globe because we can look out from the lodge and see snow falling in the valley, on the lake and on the mountains! I am in awe at the wonderful of it all.

Ok, family and friends...the secret is out! Bob and Laureanne spent their honeymoon at "the secret!" Whew, we spent hours cleaning after they left their room! They left "star dust" alllll over this mountain! Everywhere they walked "love dust" fell. Do come back, love doves, anytime!
