Palmers, Smitherman,Hollands
Chris and Lori, Sheri and Cory and Terrell and Brenda,
I can't believe this! I accidentally deleted all of my pictures. As you know it only takes one WRONG key stroke. I am SO sorry. If you will email me a picture to secret@tds.net I will be happy to post pictures of you guys. This is the first time I have ever done such a thing.
I know the guys are saying, "Oh, it's ok." :)
We had a wonderful weekend so if you don't email a picture, I'll just keep the warm thoughts of all of you in my heart. Memories are the best, anyway. They don't go away.

The Rochesters 8 Years Later!
One of the best parts of having a b&b is meeting our honeymooners! Meet "Mr. and Mrs." Chris (and Lori) Rochester who were married December 27, 2002. Eight years later, one little girl and little boy later, they visited us again. Marriage must agree with both of them because it is hard to tell the 2002 pictures from the 2011 pictures!
They planned to live happily ever after and I just happen to think......they will!

Happy Birthday, Kelli
Happy Birthday, Karen!
One of the best things about having a bed and breakfast is the friends one makes. Karen and Scott have stayed with us 4 times. This time they visited Wills Creek Vineyard and brought Carl and me a muscatine candle that filled the lodge with a warm aroma for breakfast.
Scott treated Karen to a shopping spree! Lucky.
Happy Birthday to the birthday girl

Who eats left over pancakes at the secret???
Next to our guests, I guess General Lee is the next in line for Carl's pancakes. He loves them.
I wanted my grandchildren to remember their grandmother was from the south so I named Carl's donkeys (male) General Lee, (three females) Miss Dixie, Miss Scarlett and Miss Savannah.
Harmony at it's best. These animals have it made. They live at a bed and breakfast!

A Gift from Jeremy & Jen Pease Prattville, AL
Jeremy and Jen spent a romantic evening in the Treehouse. Upon leaving, Jeremy (Airforce) said, "I left you something in the Treehouse." Then he pulled out a little green soldier and told me he had left two in the Treehouse. We built the Treehouse for the young-at-heart. Jeremy certainly fits that description! Hope to see you two again someday!
Scott & Karen Mann McCalla, AL
They said the third time is the charm, but the fourth time to stay at the secret might be pretty hard to beat. Scott spoiled Karen with a surprise, return visit to the secret. They've stayed in the Sugar Shack, then the Treehouse, then, when expecting Cody, the Nautical Cottage and this visit, yep....the Jail House. Ok, kids...next time....the lake house!!!
Hope to see you again someday!
Ray and Ellen Welsh Pensacola, Fl
What a wonderful 4 days we've shared with our now, new found friends, Ellen and Ray. What sweethearts they are. Ray makes fountain pens out of deer antlers. He gave me one! Then, he had one sent to Carl that he made from a rifle (I think) bullet. The pens are beautiful and write like a dream. Thank you, Ellen and Ray, not only for your generosity but also for the laughter and conversations we enjoyed. We hope to see you guys again someday; if not here, at the beach!

Bob & Terri Gipson Huntsville, AL
It's a small world. This past weekend Bob and Terri Gipson stayed with us. When they returned home and told their children where they had been, they found out their son and daughter-in-law had spent their first anniversary at the secret 6 years ago. Then, her parents stayed with us a year later. Imagine the coincidence? Amazing. We've enjoyed all three and we are counting on a big family reunion at the secret soon! :)
