Greg and Denise Smith Happy Anniversary!

Greg and Denise celebrated their anniversary at the secret. Little did we know that they knew wonderful friends of ours, Jack and Judy Weismann. Jack and Judy started out as guests and are now our beloved friends. See what might happen if you stay at a b & b?

Audria and Joey "checked out" for the weekend. They were our Treehouse guests! It's so nice sharing our mountain with guests who reaaallly get it -- get what this private mountain in all about. They did!

Greens & Portwoods Celebrate Greens 10 th Anniversary

Nicholas and Barbara Green spent their honeymoon at "the secret" 10 years ago. They have stayed with us 11 times since that time. This time they brought their long time friends, Jill and Eddie Portwoods with them. Good friends and good times are multiplying!

Chief Ladiga's and the Silver Comet's Trail Ride!

Located just 20 minutes from the secret...

The Chief Ladiga Trail is Alabama's first rails-to-trails project. The 33-mile trail stretches from the Alabama-Georgia state line to Anniston. The Chief Ladiga is on the same rail corridor as the Silver Comet Trail in Georgia. The two are expected to be joined after the Cleburne County section is completed. When the Chief Ladiga and the Silver Comet trails are connected there will be a 90-mile corridor available for non-motorized travel from just west of Atlanta, Georgia to Anniston, Alabama.

Shane as he crossed the Silver Comet Line in Georgia. Darlene drove him to Piedmont, AL about 20 minutes from the secret then Shane rode his bike into Georgia. Now, that's true love.

Randy and Cindy Thomas in Jail on their Anniversary!

Randy and Cindy celebrated their 10th anniversary at the secret. They spent their 18th anniversary "in Jail" at the secret this weekend. That's one they won't soon forget. They can honestly say they spent their anniversary in Jail; not that they would want too. Over the years they have become more than guests. Now they are more like family.
