Arnold & Elaine McDaniel (Verbena, AL)

Arnold and Elaine McDonald are from Verbena. If you haven't ever heard of Verbena and you live north of Birmingham and travel I-65 south, I know you have heard of Exit 205. Yep, Peach Park! If you don't know about Peach Park, you must add it your "to do" list. Traveling south, it will be on your left. It has been our favorite stop for years on the way to Florida. Traveling north, it will be on your right. Peach Park is a most unique stop. Not to sound like Budda Gump, but you will find peaches, homemade peach pies, homemade peach ice cream and more. We love their bar-be-que also. Getting back to the story, Arnold and Elaine and I had an instant connection because Verbena, Alabama is right by Peach Park, one of our favorite traveling stops. So now, we have some made some wonderful friends we can call to share a quick stop with. We'll give you guys a call sometime, ok? Arnold, I loved the look you gave Elaine in the big chair with the suckers!
